Who We Are
The International Offices of the City of Vienna present the Austrian capital as a European hub for dialogue, facilitate government-to-government projects, and develop public relations activities in Vienna’s partner cities of focus. The City of Vienna International Office Prague has been active since 1996.
Where We Operate
The City of Vienna International Office Prague is part of the City of Vienna’s network linking the Austrian capital with its partner cities of focus in Central and Southeastern Europe. Other offices are located in Belgrade, Berlin, Budapest, Kraków, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Sofia, and Zagreb. Cooperation with Bratislava is coordinated by the Vienna headquarters.
What We Do
The City of Vienna International Office Prague supports the exchange of experience and dialogue between Vienna and Prague and contributes to the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed by the two cities in 2021. It brings news from the Austrian capital to the Czech Republic, connects city administrations, and cooperates with media partners on topics related to urban development and the improvement of public spaces. It also helps Czech start-ups and companies on their journey to the Vienna market.
