Prague and Vienna: Cities Made for Living
For centuries, Prague and Vienna have shared strong historical, geographical and cultural ties, which are still reflected today in their lively exchange of expertise in the field of city governance. Collaboration between the local administrations is also fostered by the City of Vienna International Office in Prague, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Over ten panels, this exhibition showcases the work of the International Office alongside selected topics that underpin Vienna’s high quality of life. The panels highlight Vienna’s approaches to affordable housing, mobility, digitalisation, inclusion, public space and zero-emission energy, while also showing how Vienna combines long-term planning with swift responses to emerging challenges.
The exhibition was produced in cooperation between Prague City Hall and the City of Vienna International Office in Prague and is intended for both the general public and professional audiences.
